Producing a high quality finished product doesn’t just happen at our processing plant, it starts back at the farm. At First District Association we, along with our member owners, are committed to producing a superior product day in and day out, for our customers, consumers and our families.
Food Safety
Every pound of product that is produced at our processing plant can be traced back to the farm the milk came from. In addition, our plant operates under strict quality control guidelines and is registered as meeting the requirements of the SQF Food Safety Code for Manufacturing, Quality Edition 9. You can be assured that you will receive the safest, highest quality dairy products, manufactured under strict standardized requirements.
Environmental Sustainability
Being excellent caretakers of the land is something our member owners have been doing for generations. We proudly continue to produce more milk with less resources. At First District Association we are constantly striving to do more with less and are committed to minimizing our carbon footprint.
Here at First District Association, we are a proud member of the Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy’s U.S. Dairy Stewardship Commitment. This program demonstrates U.S. dairy’s collective commitment to provide the world responsibly produced dairy foods that nourish people, strengthen communities and foster a sustainable future.

Donation Request
Our primary focus is to donate to those events that are “dairy” related or support the local agriculture community. We do this by donating monetary gift cards you can use to purchase dairy products, which in turn, supports our local dairy farmers.
